Celtic Blue Rock supporting local eventCeltic Blue Rock volunteers at Teifi Roc 900 The Celtic Blue Rock committee are supporting the Teifi Roc 900 music event which is being run by the Cardigan 900 Celebrations committee and Streamline Leisure on the same weekend as our festival should have taken place. Teifi Roc 900 is a one day event being held on Saturday 7th August 2010 at the Cardigan Showground. We have offered to provide some of our stewards and volunteers to help with the running of the event. Teifi Roc 900 have kindly offered to swap some tickets already sold to locals for the Celtic Blue Rock event, we are very grateful to them for this and in exchange we have allowed them to 'hijack' our website to promote their event. 2010 Celtic Blue Rock festival cancelledCeltic Blue Rock Festival Looks to the Future…
The Voluntary Management Committee of the Celtic Blue Rock Festival on Wednesday 23rd June had to make the difficult decision to cancel this years event. This decision was not made lightly and it was after long and careful consideration and much debate that this unfortunate conclusion was drawn. Michelle Cain is a founder member and voluntary director of the Celtic Blue Rock Community Youth Festival. Her fantastic giant wicker statues have been a trademark of the Celtic Blue Rock from its launch in 2004. Baby Blue RockBaby Blue Rock looks to promote the youth and provide as much help in learning and understanding the music industry. That's why this year we will be offering 12-19 year olds a range of workshops and the opotunity to be involved in the Celtic Blue Rock Festival. Based in the Preseli Mountains in South West Wales. We are a not for profit organisation who's focus is to offer individuals the opportunity to learn, perform and enjoy the creative arts including music, performance, circus and creative art. Any profit from the Festival and its related events goes straight into local community youth projects. Our aim is to open a stage school with access for all to enjoy the performing arts and unleash those hidden talents.
