The Green Futures is the green and environmental area within the 10,000 capacity Celtic Blue Rock festival. The Moon Room workspace will house eco workshops, an eco cinema and a full weekends worth of environmental base activities. During the weekend we will have guest speakers from the Welsh Assembly to talk about climate change and the support now being offered by the assembly to people and businesses in Wales.

The Green Futures area will also have and eco labyrinth, sculptures and Green decor provided by Live Lightly. Baubo Moon room will provide a Women's space for the weekend.

There will be a marquee filled with environmental stalls and merchandise and if the weather is too hot then the Cycle powered strawberry smoothie machine will allow visitors to work up a thirst.

All perishable waste from the Green Futures area will be collected and fed to the compost pig and then reusing the waste to cultivate new areas next year.

Then finally there will be a new Compost loo area in the Green Futures site – purpose built five cubicles utilising the compost loo techniques to ensure no damaging chemicals need be used.
